IBM, UofSC break ground on innovation center

The partnership between the University of South Carolina and IBM was strengthened with the groundbreaking for the Innovation Center office building. Located on the corner of Assembly and Blossom Streets, the building will house the Center for Applied Innovation, which will conduct research and application services with an emphasis on the higher education industry. The building is expected to open in spring 2016.
