VIDEO: Preserving film history at the UofSC

In this digital age, it's very simple to shoot a movie on a handheld device and post it to the Web. In fact, every minute of the day, a hundred hours of video are uploaded to YouTube. It's a little more labor-intensive for archivists at the University of South Carolina's Moving Images Research Collection. They spend hours documenting and converting old film into a digital format, all in the name of preserving history.
