Landscaping services recently planted a live oak on the University of South Carolina's Historic Horseshoe. The tree replaces a huge live oak that was determined to be more than 130 years old. The university's dedication to creating an urban forest prompted the Arbor Day Foundation to name USC a Tree Campus USA.
