Student parking information

Starting at 6 a.m. Friday (Aug. 27), students must be parked in a lot that corresponds with their parking permit. The permit needs to be appropriately displayed on the student's vehicle. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a parking ticket or towing.
If students are looking to buy a parking permit for the Fall 2021 semester, Resident (S), Graduate (GS) and Commuter (CS) permits are still available for purchase. For more information on how to buy a permit, visit the Parking and Transportation Services website.
Students can also check out an online list of student parking garages and lots.
Students can use UofSC buses from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Outside those hours, on-demand rides are also available by calling (803) 777-1080. Students can view a list of shuttle routes and on-demand hours online.
