Beginning April 1, all faculty, staff and student employees will use a new system to view and manage their employee information. This new Human Capital Management (HCM) system replaces VIP. You will log in at hcm.ps.sc.edu with your Network Username and password.
The system’s Employee Self Service section provides a simpler interface for viewing and managing a full range of information: payroll and paychecks, personal details (such as address and emergency contacts), benefits and education information.
- Your paycheck stub will look different, with a new format and more information.
- You will be able to have up to three direct deposit accounts – instead of just one with the current system.
- eForms will replace paper forms in many HR, payroll and benefits processes.
- Employees who additional roles (such as HR contact, business manager, etc.) will have access to additional features and functions when they are logged in to the system.
VIP will serve one remaining purpose: It will maintain paycheck information for pay dates prior to April 2019. The new system will show pay information for pay date April 15, 2019, and all pay dates after that.
Visit the project website for tip sheets, a sample paycheck stub, direct deposit guidance, support options and more.
