Faculty, staff and students can still honor a cancer survivor or the memory of a loved one by getting involved with this year’s Relay for Life. Participate by registering teams or purchasing luminarias for cancer survivors and loved ones who have passed away.
This year’s Relay for Life is set for April 17 on the Blatt P.E. Center fields from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Anyone in the community is welcome to register to participate. Registration costs $10. Luminarias can be purchased in someone’s honor for $10.
This year’s theme, “Throwback,” celebrates Relay for Life’s 30th anniversary and teams will dress up from different decades.
Funds from the Relay for Life support cancer research and patient care through the American Cancer Society.
