The Exercise Science department offers seven different graduate degree programs:
- Master of Public Health in Physical Activity and Public Health (MPH)
- Provides students with the knowledge, skills & experience to design, implement, and evaluate interventions to increase physical activity in populations
- Master of Science in Exercise Science (MS)
- Provides students with an advanced foundational knowledge and skills in exercise physiology application, research methods, and statistics
- Master of Science in Performance Nutrition and Dietetics (MS)
- Provides students with performance nutrition education through a novel, practical curriculum that crosses dietetics practice with performance nutrition services
- Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT)
- Provides students with theoretical knowledge of athletic training in the larger health care systems and current procedures & techniques in sport injury management
- Master of Science in Advanced Athletic Training (MSAT)
- Prepares BOC certified athletic trainers for advanced clinical practice to enhance patient care, optimize patient outcomes, and improve quality of life
- Doctor of Philosophy in Exercise Science (Ph.D.)
- A nationally ranked mentor-based program provides students with a solid foundation
and enhanced experiences, preparing to be leaders in exercise science research

- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Prepares students to evaluate and treat individuals of all ages and populations that have health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move
