Postgraduate Training

The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy has a variety of postgraduate residency and fellowship programs for those seeking advanced pharmacy training and education. Explore our available opportunities below.

We offer several postgraduate programs for those seeking advanced pharmacy training and education:

Explore Our Residency Opportunities

Residency training is divided into two years. Postgraduate year one (PGY1) programs offer more generalized training, providing residents exposure to a broad range of clinical scenarios. Postgraduate year two (PGY2) programs emphasize a specific area of interest and help lead to specialization in that field. We offer or are affiliated with residency programs in both hospital and community settings.

Explore Our Fellowship Opportunities

A fellowship is a highly individualized postgraduate program designed to prepare the participant to become an independent researcher. USC College of Pharmacy faculty, along with our partners, work closely with each fellow to provide personalized advising and guidance to ensure a successful, productive experience.
