Telecon
Introduction
Since 2015, The University of South Carolina College of Nursing secured four grants to increase mental health care capacity in South Carolina. USC is accomplishing this by training psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner students to deliver mental health care to underserved South Carolina residents in rural areas of the state. The program’s most recent grant, TeleCon, is a $400,000 Duke Endowment education training grant awarded to principle investigator Tena Hunt McKinney, PhD, APRN, PMHNP-BC.
