Simulation Rooms

Medical Surgical Rooms

SAEL has six medical-surgical suites.  Each room is generally occupied by one of our adult patient simulators.  Some rooms have large glass doors that allow for ease in moving equipment and furniture in and out. The rooms may be transitioned from an intensive care unit room to a long term care facility bedroom to a home or community setting.  Students in their junior and senior years will experience all types of curriculum driven scenarios in this simulation environment.

SimMan 3G

We have two SimMan 3G patient simulators.  Chest rise, pulses, reactive pupils, heart, lung, and bowel sounds  are just some of the features these manikins offer.

SimMan Essential

We have three SimMan Essentials.  They have pulses,  chest rise, bowel, heart, and lung sounds as well as blood drawing capabilities.

Nursing Anne We have one Nursing Anne  patient simulator.  Chest rise, pulses, heart, lung, and bowel sounds  are just some of the features these manikins offer.
