Bio
Background: | Dr. Erin Brackbill, MD, FAAP, Dip ABLM (Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine) has practiced general pediatrics for 20 years and serves on faculty at The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville and Prisma Health Upstate Children's Hospital. She has extensive prior experience in the field of pediatric obesity, serving 8 years at a comprehensive healthy lifestyle program for children and families at Prisma Health Children's Hospital. She is involved with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, serving as an officer of the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Interest Group. She enjoys working with residents and students. Her main areas of academic interest are pediatric obesity and a lifestyle medicine approach to pediatric obesity and chronic disease, with a special focus on populations disproportionately impacted by the social drivers of health. |
