2024 Holiday Card Design Contest

Dear Carolina students,

With a new academic year under way, the First Lady and I would like to invite all USC students to participate in our annual Holiday Card Design Contest.

We’d like to showcase the creativity, talent and spirit of our University of South Carolina students on the cover of our 2024 holiday greeting card, which will be mailed in December to 5,000 recipients, including members of our university community, alumni, donors and friends.

Current students from any USC campus are invited to submit their designs for consideration in this contest.

We will select three designs that best illustrate the spirit of Carolina, using one or more of this year’s contest themes: USC life; college life in general; South Carolina; or the winter season. One grand-prize artist will receive $500 and have their design featured on the front of the holiday card and be credited as the artist on the back of the card. The two runner-up artists will each receive $250. Ero and I will also host all three winners at the President’s House for a special recognition of their designs.
