First-Generation College Celebration Week

Dear First-Generation Students,

Congratulations to you all for the important step you are taking for your future as first-generation college students! Both my wife, Ero, and I were also the first in our families to attend college, and we are happy to observe First-Generation College Celebration Week alongside the 5,000-plus USC scholars who are blazing new trails in their families and setting high educational goals.

Our Columbia campus will celebrate this special week with activities each day, and we hope you will take advantage of the resources and recreation they will provide. A detailed schedule of events can be found at the Celebrating First-Generation Students web page. Some highlights include:
