Business Intelligence and Analytics

The Business Intelligence Director champions various applications, infrastructure and technology tools and best-practices that enable access to as well as analysis of institutional data. These efforts improve and optimize decision making and performance across the University of South Carolina School system. Communities

  • Analytics Community of Practice
    Builds momentum for the growing use of reporting and analytics by staff members of their respective campus(es), at all levels. Join the ACP.

  • Business Intelligence Council
    Elevates institutional research offices in facilitating and fulfilling the strategic data and information needs of their respective campus(es).

  • Flagship Analytics Council
    Elevates and addresses the data and information needs of academic units and key administrative divisions attached to USC's flagship campus. 


Business Intelligence Director

Caroline Maulana serves as the Business Intelligence Director for the Division of Information Technology at the University of South Carolina to support data and information needs across the USC system by ensuring the availability of data assets, software, tools, services, personnel and procedures. As the university's first Business Intelligence Director, she will be working to grow the data warehouse into a robust business intelligence center that supports data access, reporting analytics, and decision support across all administrative data domains. Her prior experience includes a lengthy leadership run with data-informed operations at Under Armour.
