Campus Conversation: Ian McFarland

“I started a chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society because I wanted to create a forum for
intelligent discussion to combat the misinformation that spreads easily around students
concerning world affairs. The process was very easy, especially with all of the help from USC
and the national AHS organization.

“My favorite memory so far has been hosting our first guest speaker, Ambassador Kelley Currie,
to talk about all things foreign policy and speak about her career as well. It was an absolute
privilege, and I see AHS as a service to creating a more educated society.”
