Campus Conversation: Dinorah Avila

“My time at the Gamecock Pantry has been a really rewarding experience because you get to see the impact in the community by getting to know the people who shop and support their families. Because we are donations based, we rely heavily on the community. These past semesters, we have been so thankful to partner with the Facebook parents group and they have gone above and beyond to help us out. I love being a part of a university that everyone is committed to support our cause and give back to the community.

The Carolina Closet is another resource that has helped so many students. Business casual and professional clothes are expensive and can be difficult to get on a college student budget. I am so proud to be a part of a university that provides these organizations that can support students outside of academics.”
