Campus Conversation: Averiona Goodwin

“I joined because I sought to be a part of something that was bigger than myself. My experience as president of the Theta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has been such a memorable one. Women of AKA are driven and dedicated to scholarship, sisterhood and service to all mankind.

The 50th anniversary of the Theta Gamma Chapter means 50 years of setting the standards. As a Black Greek-letter organization at a predominately white institution, Theta Gamma has sustained a level of excellence. Personally, the anniversary speaks to all we have done and all we will come to do. My heart gets overjoyed when I think about how meaningful this chapter is. Cheers to 50 years and many more to come. Forever to … Theta Gamma!”
