"I am involved with Epsilon Sigma Alpha service sorority. I have been doing community
service since I was in high school, and it is definitely something that I think I
will continue to do for the rest of my life. Philanthropy is something that I am very
passionate about, and I hope to work for a nonprofit eventually. Community service
has been beneficial for my college experience because it has allowed me to feel like
I am making a difference, and I also get to meet and talk to new people through volunteering
which is something that I love. After graduation, I hope to get a job in the mass
communications field and be able to grow my marketing and public relations skills.
UofSC has done an awesome job, whether that be inside the classroom or outside the
classroom, with helping students gain the skills they need to be a good leader and
communicator."
-Monica Williams, senior public relations major
