Campus Conversation: Prer Shidhaye

"I am one of the hosts of a podcast called The Daily Dos. We are a few college students
at UofSC who have recently started the podcast in attempt to reduce the stigma that
currently circulates around mental health. We hope to provide a positive and motivational
support system for our school and surrounding community through the means of our podcast.
We have been recording from home while campus is closed. We have recorded one episode
thus far about quarantine, and are set to record around three to four more within
the next week.
How do we wake up every day and function in a global situation so uncertain, unprecedented
and unfamiliar? By changing perspective— it really is everything. Choosing to use
language that focuses on what you have rather than what you lack can mean the difference
between anxiety and resilience. Conversations aren’t canceled, songs and movies aren’t
canceled. Reading and self-care aren’t canceled—focus on the positives.
Check us out on Apple Podcasts and Spotify! Our Instagram is @thedailydospod."
