Pastides: UofSC prepares 21st century leaders

The University of South Carolina is well positioned to prepare 21st century leaders and workforce-ready graduates, President Harris Pastides said Wednesday (Sept. 14) during his ninth State of the University Address.
"We have been developing the standards and the benchmarks for that 21st century university for some time now," Pastides said to a packed ballroom in the Russell House University Union. "The 21st Century grad is one who is classically educated in the core arts and sciences, regardless of major, workforce ready, creative and innovative ready, and leadership ready."
