Alumni panel will offer career advice

A panel of alumni will speak about unique challenges and opportunities for students of color as they enter the workforce.
The panel will be hosted by the UofSC Career Center and will offer guidance about how to advance yourself professionally and how to navigate issues regarding diversity, equity and inclusion.
The panel will take place on Sept. 15 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Career Center Classroom in Thomas Cooper Library.
Topics to be addressed include: prejudice and microaggressions, “workplace fit,” code-switching, professional etiquette, researching the work culture of organizations, and belonging vs. working for an organization.
