Parking opens garages for winter weather
Campus community members can move their cars to safer parking this weekend

With campus closing on Friday, Jan. 21 due to predicted inclement weather, UofSC Parking and Transportation Services has adjusted its operations to accommodate the campus community over the weekend.
First, the following areas in garages are open now for safer parking for students, faculty and staff:
- Gates 1, 2 and the hourly area of Bull St. Garage
- the metered spaces on the lower two levels in the Pendleton St. Garage.
In addition, all top-level spaces on the garages will be closed.
Also, UofSC Transit powered by the COMET will have the Red and West Campus Routes operating from 10 am to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21. No evening shuttle will run, but the on-demand shuttle will be available Friday night by calling 803-777-1080. This plan may change depending on the severity of the weather situation.
Regular campus parking enforcement and full UofSC Transit service will resume on Monday morning.
