Multifactor authentication will be required for Office 365 applications



Beginning Feb. 12, multifactor authentication via Duo Two Factor Authentication will be required to login to all Office 365 applications including: Outlook email, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure and SharePoint.

Multifactor authentication, sometimes referred to as two-step or two-factor authentication, is currently being used by UofSC students, faculty and staff for sites like PeopleSoft and myaccount.sc.edu. The Division of Information Technology will be turning on multifactor authentication for Office 365 applications for additional security.
