The new Medical Overdose Treatment amnesty policy was created to encourage students to make responsible decisions and seek assistance for fellow students who may be experiencing an alcohol or drug overdose without worrying about getting into trouble with student conduct.
Students or student groups who seek medical assistance for others, will receive educational and supportive measures rather than disciplinary sanctions.
