UofSC, Uber team up to advance student rideshare safety

The tragic death of UofSC senior Samantha Josephson has turned a national spotlight on rideshare safety. Uber and the University of South Carolina are collaborating to raise public awareness nationally about this important issue.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday (April 18) in the Russell House 2nd floor lobby, Uber and the university will host a rideshare learning experience featuring information and demonstrations of safety features in the Uber app. Please join us for this important initiative.
