Dr. Lorne Hofseth, associate dean for research, has focused on increasing the research funding awarded to the college, even holding sessions for junior research faculty members to hone their grant submission skills.

“Our hardworking and talented faculty at the College of Pharmacy have been exceptional in turning ideas into discoveries over the past several years,” he says.“Garnering both small seed grants and multi-institutional federal awards, their efforts are advancing science in cancer research, neuroscience, drug addiction, infectious diseases, and rural health. Their work will make a tangible difference in our community, particularly in areas facing significant health disparities and chronic illnesses.”
