Kathleen Bradshaw LaSala, PhD, RN, PNP, CNE
Dr. LaSala received her PhD in Nursing from George Mason University, a Masters of
Science in Nursing and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University
of Virginia, and a BSN from Radford University. Her clinical practice has focused
on primary, acute care and rehabilitation care in pediatrics. She has extensive experience
in nursing education and administration, including appointments at the University
of Northern Colorado, University of Colorado, Radford University and James Madison
University. Dr. LaSala's research areas include nursing and health care workforce
issues, health care policy and education issues, and clinical issues related to tobacco
cessation. She is well published and has secured significant funding to support research,
academic programs and scholarships for students. She and her husband have four adult
sons, two who are in nursing, one in physical therapy and one in architecture. Welcome
