USC Walks for the American Heart Association

Mrs. Patricia Moore-Pastides and College of Nursing Dean, Dr.  Jeannette Andrews, served as co-chairs of the USC American Heart Association Walk Team.  335 members were recruited, exceeding the goal of 300 and the total amount raised by the University was $17,319, exceeding the goal of $15,000.

“The AHA-Midlands is humbled by the University of South Carolina's participation and dollars raised for our event.  We are so appreciative of donors and supporters and without companies involved like USC, we would not be able to message our mission into the Midlands Community”, said Valerie Bridges, Senior Development Director.

Thank you to everyone involved in this event!
