| Description: | Partnerships for International Research and Education (PIRE) specializes in research on modeling, erosion, deposition, and sediment transport. Past projects modeled flow and transport of sediment following levee or dam failure to provide a complete and accurate picture of the resulting flood hazard and the associated geomorphic impacts. We continue to partner with institutions worldwide on additional projects. |
