The College of Engineering and Computing recognized 15 undergraduate seniors with Outstanding Senior Awards this year. The award recipients were recommended by faculty members and selected based on their academic excellence, undergraduate research participation and active involvement in the college or university community.
The South Carolina Society of Professional Engineers gave out six of the awards at its banquet on March 4. The recipients were:

• David Bianco, Civil Engineering
• Elizabeth Grace, Chemical Engineering
• Wylie Gunn, Computer Engineering
• Sydney Weaver, Biomedical Engineering
• Jerrod Wigmore, Electrical Engineering
• Wendy Zwanka, Mechanical Engineering

Additionally, nine seniors received Outstanding Senior Awards during University Awards Day on April 18 in the Horseshoe. The recipients were:

• Michael Afrin, Computer Information Systems
• Jacob Baltzegar, Chemical Engineering
• Alex Brasington, Civil Engineering
• James Coman, Computer Engineering
• Danielle Dispoto, Integrated Information Technology
• Kyle Drain, Electrical Engineering
• Devin Fox, Mechanical Engineering
• Victor Madomo, Biomedical Engineering
• Charissa Pichai, Computer Science and Engineering

The College of Engineering and Computing commends these students on their achievements and looks forward to seeing how these future Gamecock graduates solve the problems of tomorrow.
