About the Speaker
Jean Lydon-Rodgers is responsible for GE Aviation’s military operations serving the U.S. Department of Defense and numerous international military customers for aircraft, helicopter and marine engines.
In her former engineering role, she supported the development and certification of commercial engines including: CFM56, GE90, CF6 and GP7200. She later progressed to technology upgrades manager and manager of overhaul & platform strategy marketing where she implemented innovative technology and service solutions to improve productivity.
She moved to Military Systems in 2002 as the manager of F136 supply chain programs and progressed to F136 program manager. Prior to her current role, she served as vice president of the F136 engine project at GEAviation and also as president of the GE Rolls-Royce Fighter Engine Team.
She earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Xavier University.
