Bio

Sam Gross has overseen the construction of USC Mainstage productions since 2005.  In his position as Assistant Technical Director, Sam supervises graduate and undergraduate students in the construction of scenery and props.  He also teaches several theatre technology subjects including: Stagecraft, Computer Aided Drafting, Mechanized Scenery, Theatre Technology, Electronics, Welding, and Theatrical Rigging. Mr. Gross received his Bachelor of Sciences Degree from the University of North Alabama where he also worked as a sound designer, lighting designer, sound engineer, carpenter, and actor.  Sam attended Indiana University where he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Technology.
