Lyle Browne is an actor and director originally from Chicago, where he earned his SAG & AFTRA union membership doing films, television, and commercials. Lyle graduated from the Second City Conservatory in Chicago, working with the best in improvisation and sketch comedy writing for two years. In 2008 he moved to Columbia, SC, to teach high school theatre. He founded all-district musicals in two SC school districts, combining the talents of public school students in the communities into one musical. Lyle has directed over 30 musicals and plays since moving to South Carolina and directed A Christmas Carol at Village Square Theater. He has been a proud South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association member for the past 15 years. Lyle earned his BA in Theatre from the University of Iowa, his MFA from Roosevelt University, and an MAT from National Louis University.
