What to Expect

Don't let finances stop you from pursuing a research project. With support from a faculty mentor, you can apply for grant funds that may be used for expenses such as project travel, materials and supplies or salary. Research projects can help you gain expertise in your area of study, connect with faculty and stretch your problem-solving skills.

This engagement qualifies for these special designations:

  • GLD-Research
  • Experiential Learning Opportunity
  • Option to appear on USC Experience extended transcript

Term: Summer 2023

 

Requirements

Time Commitment: 60 - 89 hours
Who Can Participate: Selected through competitive application
Minimum Credit Hours: 15 hours or one semester completed at USC
Minimum GPA:  15 hours or one semester completed at USC
