Background

Chris serves as Senior Director of Development for Palmetto College at the University of South Carolina. Presently in his 12th year with the University, he oversees development activity on behalf of the four two-year regional campuses, Extended University and the online bachelor's degree completion program that make up Palmetto College under Chancellor Susan Elkins.

Chris came to Carolina in March of 2007. Prior to joining Palmetto College in 2014, he served as Senior Director for the College of Arts & Sciences, Regional Programs and as interim Director for the College of Education.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business-Economics from U.C. Santa Barbara and an MBA from Santa Clara University. Following a career in product marketing and sales in Silicon Valley, Chris has worked in higher education and development since 1998 with Stanford University, Tulane University, World Wildlife Fund and with the University of South Carolina.
