Kayce is from Union, SC. Although initially resistant to the idea of attending USC Union, she found it was the perfect fit for her.
"I grew up in Union. I got a soccer scholarship to another college, but I didn’t have enough money to attend because I’m paying for college out of pocket.
Then I decided I was going into the military because I love criminal justice, and I would just get my degree later, and let them pay for it. But one day my mom said, “Please, just go to USC Union, and try it out for a year. And if you don’t want to go there anymore, you can go into the military. And I said, 'OK, I’ll go.' So I went to USC Union. And I fell in love with USC Union and how small it is. It wasn’t a big transformation from high school, and it was easy to get one-on-one time with my professors."
