Turbo-Tech Tuesday: New Online Tools for Teaching and Instruction

Description

Do you teach online? Are your classes face to face? How about a hybrid situation? Looking for technologies and online tools to use in your teaching and instruction? Then this is a session you will want to attend. Heather Moorefield-Lang from the School of Library and Information Science will take you through some of the newest online tools. This will be a jam-packed session of useful sites and applications. Bring your laptop or favorite device to interact with the instruction more fully during the session.

About the Facilitator

Heather Moorefield-Lang is an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina in the School of Library and Information Science. She received her master's in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her doctorate in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research is focused in emerging technologies and how they are used in education and libraries. Her current research focuses on makerspaces and their subsequent technologies in libraries of all types and levels.
