Program: PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency
Location: West Columbia, South Carolina
Background: Since 1982, Medicine Mart - West Columbia pharmacy has been owned and operated by Fran and Lynn Connelly. Lynn has been recognized as a pillar of pharmacy through numerous awards including The South Carolina Pharmacy Association Volunteer of the Year, the Bowl of Hygeia Award, and the NCPA Willard B. Simmons Independent Pharmacist of the Year Award, among others. In addition to traditional dispensing services, the Resident at Medicine Mart - West Columbia currently offers disease state education, comprehensive medication reviews, medication synchronization, adherence packaging, immunization programs, one on one health coaching, and health screenings.
