Engagement Details

Study Abroad Association

What to Expect

The purpose of the Study Abroad Association will be to foster intercultural exchange and cultural exploration among incoming exchange students and study abroad returnees in order to aid in creating a link between U.S. and non-U.S. identities. Incoming exchange students will be paired with USC students who have previously studied abroad and would like to act as guides and mentors for these exchange students on campus. In addition to this intercultural exchange at the individual level, we anticipate this to have a larger impact on the internationalization of campus, contributing to the larger USC vision of a global presence both on campus and around the world.

Registered Student Organization (RSO): student organizations that are independent legal entities from the University, have no delegated authority from the University, and do not perform functions on behalf of the university.

Term: Ongoing
