My experience at UofSC has taught me three things - keep moving forward, give what you have to give wherever you are, and don't forget to take care of yourself.  

Story:
I am grateful for my time here.  There were many opportunities for meaningful work and rest, friendship and solitude.  Through Top Scholars, I met my friend and roommate of three years.   I wanted to be an elementary music educator since I was very young. I still do very much.  UofSC has provided much opportunity for personal, musical, and pedagogical growth from which I plan to draw throughout the rest of my career.  I hope you all find the joy that can be had in your work and in the love of the Lord.   

Post-graduate plans: 
Gabe plans to return to NC to teach elementary music, teach piano privately, and to be a pianist (and possibly choir director) at a local church.   

Career goals/professional aspirations: 
I look forward to heading back to North Carolina, and teaching at a local elementary school, teaching private piano/violin/voice lessons, and accompanying (and possibly directing a choir) at a local church.
