Wanting to start my career in investment banking on Wall Street, I was worried about being able to make that happen from UofSC. Dr. Colin Jones had started a Finance Scholars program a few years before I entered South Carolina and he was willing to let me enter his program a year early, as a sophomore. He challenged me and encouraged me. He also believed in me. He submitted my name to a very prestigious boutique restructuring firm in midtown Manhattan when they asked if he had any talented students they should consider for an internship. Dr. Jones helped me prepare for my series of interviews and because of him, I secured the internship and will be joining the firm upon graduation. 

Future plans: Connor has secured an analyst position with Ducera Partners in NYC, starting in August. This summer he will work as a fly-fishing guide near Jackson, Wyoming.
