I was taking a class on visual composition in film and theater during the spring of my freshman year. I entered college wanting to realize a passion I had for filmmaking, and the class seemed the perfect opportunity to learn more about something I didn't quite know how to approach. My professor, Nic Ularu, inspired me with his knowledge of creative visualization throughout the entire class. It was the first time someone had put into words the things I hadn't yet realized I wanted to pursue, and he gave me the encouragement to follow my creative instincts. We've worked together on multiple occasions since, and he's helped me develop a yearning passion into a realized path for my future. 

Future plans: This summer Alex will work as an events associate at the Baldpate Inn in Estes Park, Colorado, and while seeking full-time employment.
