About this Fellowship
The ACS Scholars Program awards renewable scholarships to undergraduate students from historically underrepresented groups in the chemical sciences, majoring in chemistry-related disciplines, and intending to pursue chemistry-related careers.
The American Chemical Society Scholars Program is for African American/Black, Native American/American Indian and Hispanic or Latino undergraduate students pursuing bachelor’s degrees in the chemical sciences, and planning careers in the chemical sciences.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic record, career objective, leadership ability, participation in school activities and/or academic research, and community service.
Deadlines are typically in March, but be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline.
Award Value
Selected recipients are awarded up to $5,000 per academic year.
