About this Fellowship
Provides U.S. graduate students in science, engineering, and education first-hand research experiences in Australia, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore or Taiwan; an introduction to the science, science policy, and scientific infrastructure of the respective location; and an orientation to the society, culture and language.
It is expected that EAPSI awards will help students initiate professional relationships to enable future collaboration with foreign counterparts.
Please note: Current graduate students applying for the NSF EAPSI must also complete the USC Study Abroad Application due to the Study Abroad Office. If awarded grant, at least 30 days prior to departure you must complete the relevant Study Abroad Application found at the link to Forms and Applications, and then Graduate/Professional Students at http://studyabroad.sc.edu/
Award Value
A stipend of $5,000, roundtrip air ticket, and in-country living expenses are provided.
