The oldest and most celebrated international fellowship awards in the world,they enable students to study for two years at Oxford University. Each year 32 Americans are chosen for their outstanding scholarly achievements, as well as their character, commitment to others and to the common good, and for their potential for leadership in whatever domains their careers may lead.
Candidates must have superior academic ability, a history of service and leadership, be well-informed on global issues, and have proven physical vitality.
Applicants must be nominated by USC's committee.
The process for being nominated for a Rhodes begins annually in April at USC.
Provides for two full years of study at Oxford University in any field.
