Stipend for 9 month school year ($32,000-38,000) and full tuition equivalent, both renewable for up to 5 years.

Department of Defense National Defense Science and Engineering Grad Fellowships
Highly competitive, portable fellowship that is awarded to U.S. citizens and nationals who intend to pursue a doctoral degree in one of fifteen supported STEM disciplines. Three years of support, including full tuition and all mandatory fees, a monthly stipend (minimum $30,500), and up to $1000 in medical insurance.
National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship
Awards for study and research in the sciences or in engineering leading to master's or doctoral degrees in the mathematical, physical, biological, engineering, behavioral and social sciences, and in the history and philosophy of sciences. Three-year annual stipend of $34,000, plus $12,000 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees, for students pursuing graduate education. Usable over 5 years.
