About this Fellowship
Supports IT students interested in working as Information Management Specialists with the US Foreign Service.
If you’re pursuing an IT-related degree, the Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) Fellowship could combine your passion for technology and love of travel into to a rewarding career.
As an FAIT Fellow, you’ll receive substantial financial support, mentoring, and professional development from the U.S. Department of State. Following graduation, Fellows join the U.S. Foreign Service and complete a five-year service commitment as an Information Management Specialist.

Award Value
Up to $43,500 annually for two years, either junior and senior year of undergraduate program, or a two-year Master's program in an IT-related field. Additional stipends and funding for two summer internships, one domestic and one international.
