About this Fellowship

Funds a graduate degree at Stanford University. The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program is designed to build a multidisciplinary community of Stanford graduate students dedicated to finding creative solutions to the world's greatest challenges.

As a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, you may pursue an education in any of Stanford’s graduate programs. We welcome students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees in law, business, medicine, engineering, humanities and sciences, education, and earth, energy and environmental sciences – all of which are ranked among the top five in the world. Knight-Hennessy Scholars are ambitious, in the best sense, and will drive large-scale change in our complex world. Denning House, constructed in the heart of the Stanford campus, is the convening hub for the Knight-Hennessy Scholars.

We curate a multidisciplinary community of scholars, offer a platform for purposeful leadership development, and empower you to effect large-scale positive impact in the world.


Award Value

Up to 3 years of funding for a graduate degree at Stanford. Exact amount depends upon degree, but funding covers tuition, fees, health insurance, and living stipend.
