About this Fellowship
Awarded to LGBTQI students who aim to participate in a rigorous study abroad program as laid out by the Fund for Education Abroad.
Applicants must be planning to study abroad for at least four weeks within the calendar year. The scholarship is administered via the Fund for Education Abroad, and falls under one of their "dedicated scholarships."
Please note: Students applying for the Rainbow Scholarship must also complete the study abroad application process with the Education Abroad Office. See more information about the study abroad application process and their deadlines at the Education Abroad website.
Deadlines for the Spring cycle are typically in September and deadlines for the Fall, Summer, and Academic year cycle are typically in January. Be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline.
Award Value
Up to $5,000 for a semester abroad.
