Humanity In Action Fellowship
Goes By: Humanity In Action
Five week summer program taking place in Europe. Programs focus specifically on the relationship between majority and minority populations in Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland.
Each program is highly interdisciplinary, and features daily lectures and discussions with renowned academics, journalists, politicians, and activists, as well as site visits to government agencies, non-profit and community organizations, museums, and memorials. The programs seek to highlight different models of action to remedy injustice. Senior Fellows, the alumni of the Humanity in Action Fellowship, are expected to participate in the fellowship's international network once their programs end.
Please note: Current students applying for the Humanity in Action Fellowship must also complete the USC Study Abroad Application due to the Study Abroad Office. If awarded grant, at least 30 days prior to departure you must complete the relevant Study Abroad Application found at the link to Forms and Applications and then Non-Credit Global Learning Programs at sc.edu/studyabroad
Humanity in Action covers the costs of participation and accommodation during the fellowship. Air fare is not covered unless documented need is provided.
